Book Review

Kingdom of the Cursed

Emilia has sold her soul to the devil But… does she truly know who she is dealing with or is this just the beginning?

My Thoughts

HOLD ON…

WAIT A MINUTE….

THIS ONE HAD SOME SEXUAL TENSION MOTHERFUCKING IN IT!

I have been hoping and praying and wishing and selling my soul to the devil for this read and BOY did it deliver….

The sights, the smells, and the amazingness of the underworld were AMAZING…

The characters are everything my little black heart desires…

AND THE STEAMMMMMMMM… I flooded my basement and wanted to grab my husband as soon as possible if you catch my drift…

However, with all that worshipping said…. I am soooooo confused! What just HAPPENED?!

So if you are an ACOTAR fan and remember reading the second book of the series where the author gave you everything you wanted and you were just about to get the ultimate prize and SJM took everything away from you in a split second…. WELLL this ending was kind of like that. (Boy was that a runon sentence… don’t tell my students please!)

The author led us down the devilish rabbit hole with so many amazing sights of the hellish world and all of Emilia’s clothes (OMGGGGG I HAD A CLOSETGASEM about every chapter). OH and the food…. I was just sooooo craving it all in this book. I also haven’t found a bookish world I’ve wanted to visit as much as TOG, but I found it… and then some. Hell is my new dream home and no one can tell me different. I would love to go to parties at Gluttony’s house PLEASE!

However, through all of these amazing introductions and details….the plot was a drawn out build up and when everything came to a head…. I screamed… WTF?!?! I honestly thought I missed something because so much information was given in such a tiny span of chapters. I actually read the last three chapters twice because I thought I missed something…

NOPE! I didn’t miss anything annnnd I’m left with so many questions and a case of lady blue balls….

I need the third book as soon as possible because my burning curiosity will probably kill me soon.

UGH THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD!
