My Top 5 Reads of October

I managed to read so many great books this month! I don’t know how I can choose, but these five books shocked me, made me laugh, made me cry and are books I will NEVER forget! Have you read any of these?

OMMGGGG this book was so much better than I expected. I mean the book title alone told me that it contained my two favorite scary things…. clowns and cornfields…. And BOY DID IT DELIVER! The book started off with such a bag and kept me guessing until the very end. I was so in love with this book and had to finish reading it in one sitting. I also saw on Goodreads that there might be a sequel in the works so I’m keeping my fingers crossed until then!

My Rating:

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I have been a fan of this author since reading The Whisper Man and this second novel of his was even better than the first! The alternating timelines and perspectives kept me on the edge of my seat until the very last page. I was also sincerely freaked the heck out and almost couldn’t sleep the night I finished. The fact that I also listened to it on audiobook made it an even better experience. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store next!

My Rating:

Rating: 5 out of 5.

OMGGGGGG THIS SERIES WAS SO AMAZING! I waited until the last installment came out because I know myself and my impatient ways. With each book of the series, the book and the characters got better and better. I binged the series in a week and have no regrets except that it is over and I just need to know about adult Pip…

If you like Nancy Drew or Veronica Mars… you will definitely LOVE this book!

My Rating:

Rating: 5 out of 5.

OMGGGG this book was sooooooooooooo interesting. It was like the Dead Poet’s Society, but with scary movies instead of poetry. However, it was much creepier and darker than those inspiring young men. There was also mystery and intrigue with it all and I was on the edge of my seat until the end. I would loveeeeeeee a sequel please and thank you!!

My Rating:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

I’ve had this book on kindle for sooooo long and since I’ve never seen the movie, I thought it would be perfect for this spooky season…. I was so shook by this book and going in blind was the perfect way to read the book. The suspense is very subtle and definitely a slow burn, but it was necessary to keep it unpredictable to really get the story across…. I also learned that there is a sequel so youuuuu bet that’s on the TBR for next month!

My Rating:

Rating: 5 out of 5.
