My Top Five Reads of July
This month was full of amazing reads so it was so hard to just choose five of them! I managed to get through 25 books this month and I got my reading mojo back! It was AMAZING! Although it was hard to choose, I did manage and here they are!
Ruthless Noble by Alley Ciz

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review and I honestly was so in love with this read. Omg omg this conclusion to this spicy and gritty duet romance was just so so sooooo good. I am so thankful to the author for this ARC and I just can’t wait to read more from this fabulous author. I just loved the story and how it came to such a shocking and satisfying conclusion. I just loved these characters so much and I loved that sexy banter that these characters provide. Although Savvy and Jasper’s story is done, but these side characters are just as interesting so I can’t wait for more from them!
My Rating:
These Hollow Vows by Lexi Ryan

This fantasy is just what the doctor ordered for me. This book kicked off my reading for this month and spiralled into a reading hole that I was so happy to be in!! Everything about this fantasy is everything that you could want and I just can’t for more. The twists and turns of the plot line and the magic of the book world kept me so addicted. I also was obsessed with these characters and their overwhelming fight for good and they always kept me guessing! And that ending……. It destroyed me, but also made me gasp for more!!! I can’t wait for the next book!
My Rating:
The Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix

This book wassssss….. SHOCKING. I don’t even know what to say about it honestly. It was everything I wanted when I read that title, however, it was a much deeper read than I thought it would be. It was definitely not just a thrilling read, it explored so many avenues of the consequences of trauma, how people see a victim of trauma and the one committing the crime, and to remember the victims and not the killers. It also looked at the concept of the final girl and their journey way after their shocking terrors. I really enjoyed this thrill ride and if you like thrillers, you should definitely read thisssss!!!
My Rating:
The Lords of Pain by Angel Lawson and Samantha Rue

SOooooo this is such a gritty and crazy dark reverse harem romance that has triggers upon triggers upon triggers. If you thought Den of Vipers was dark, this book takes it to a whole other level! I loveddddd this book so much, but it was not for the faint of heart. These characters are very flawed and nowhere near angels, but they are very raw and so damn interesting that you can’t help but read more. The plot line is insane and full of very dramatic moments and that ending was AMAZING. I cannot wait for the conclusion of this book because I am officially hooked and extremely impatient.
My Rating:
Savage Vandal by Heather Long

OMGGGGG this book was just so damn good and I am fricken obsessed! This book was by far my favorite read of the month and I am so desperate for more. I loved this read so much because the writing was AMAZINGGGG! OMG the writing took my breath away and didn’t give it back to me until the conclusion. I was so excited that the sequel was already published so I breezed through that, but THE THIRD BOOK ISN’T OUT YET AND I AM SO DEPRESSED!!! I mean the story is so full of mystery and I am just so captivated by it all. I NEED ANSWERS SOON ASAP! PLEASE GET THAT THIRD BOOK OUT SOON CHILD!
