Summary

Seneca Rain has not had it easy and with her mother’s death, things are about to get worse. Her bully of an alpha wants her, but she could never lay down her beliefs and commit to that scumbag. So she decides to leave her pack, but will her new life be just as bad as her old one?

My Thoughts

Damn, this book was brutal and crazy in the best possible way. This book took wolf pack romance to a whole other level and I was so into it!

Wow this story is heartbreaking and so devastating in the beginning, but so powerful and addicting so I had to continue on. Even though I was so heartbroken and depressed about Seneca’s situation and I honestly didn’t know if she was going to have any semblance of a happy ending, I just HAD TO KNOW!

The plot is bloody, action packed and just non stop animal instincts from beginning to end. I was so shook and I just had to keep reading until I was done. I also got just a little annoyed when my husband was bothering me as I was reading. Sorry not sorry. This story is not for the faint of heart and is not completely happy or sweet all the time, but it is raw and much more animal than human. I mean if you think about it, they do have a deeper connection to animals so it would make sense. However, it is unlike any wolf shifter romance I’ve read in a long time. This story is gritty, but has such an amazing and beautiful conclusion that is worth every heartbreak.

The main character is anything, but sweet, but she is strong, crazy, vicious, and you will be rooting for her harder than any heroine you’ve ever read. She kicks ass to those that deserve it and is such a fighter for herself and anyone else that has done wrong. I really loved her. Her alpha male wolf was DAMN FINE as well. He was powerful and dangerous, but he had a heart of gold when it counted and I really liked him as well.

HOLY SH*T… The steam in this book is oh so good and it made me so happy. I just loved Seneca and Tyran together and it just made me so happy when they figured out their crap and just got it on. Ummm and weird note… the steamy scenes between them were much more biological than any shifter romance I’ve ever read. So that was kinda a fun thing to read as well. I’m not going to say anymore because….spoilers…. !

I was addicted to this book from the very first word and didn’t put it down my kindle until I was finished. Pick up this book ASAP, it is AWESOME!
