My Thoughts

OMMMMMMMG! This was another case of…. WHAT THE F**K DID I JUST READDDD!?!!?!

I saw this book first on TikTok a LONNNNNNNG time ago, like when I first joined. I was so intrigued by the title and cover, but it wasn’t available on kindle books so I had to buy the paperback which is something I only do if I REALLY like the book.

…..I REALLY LIKED THE BOOK. IT WAS AMAZINGGGGGGGGG and I stayed up until 4:00 a.m. trying to finish it.

So this book is severely fucked up in all the amazing ways I love, but definitely check the trigger warnings before you open this book…. It was A LOTTTTTTT!

These characters went through some intense and heavy trauma and choose to act on them through violence and angry hot sex… yes I was obsessed, but it is definitely not for everyone.

The love story of Ellis Earnshaw and Heathan James is beautiful to me in a way that they found each other in such dark and desperate times and are able to pull themselves out of it together. I mean the way they choose to do this may not be healthy for some, but I was obsessed with the story and the characters are some of my new favorites.

The story reminded me A LOT of a manga and I really REALLY REALLLLLLLY LOVED ITTTTT! I mean who could not love a bloodthirsty duo dressed up like Alice from Alice and Wonderland and the White Rabbit…. UGHHH it pulled at all my favorite childhood memories and made me feel all grown up. It wassssssss beautiful and I want to be Ellis when I grow up! She’s amazing and crazy and bloodthirsty and jussttttt such an amazing character to follow!

I’m also so obsessed with Heathan. LIKE OBSESSEDDDDD. He’s so yummy and delicious and I just wish this was a series instead of a standalone because I need more of him…

ALSO…. STEAM is FANTASTIC!

I could go on and on and onnnnnn about this book. It’s amazing. Good job Ms. Tillie, my loins are still burning.
