My Thoughts

I was lucky to receive a copy of this book as an ARC from The Hatter Author Services for an honest review. This book was delightful and just what the doctor ordered. It took me on such a romantic whirlwind and it was all so enjoyable. I mean…. They went to Paris, does it get any more romantic than that!?

This book is the second installment of the Wild Orchids series, but each book could be read as a standalone. Each book centers around one of the Clark sisters and this one centered around the second born sister. I haven’t read the first book, but it wasn’t necessary to read the first book. HOWEVER…. I will because I love this book world and this author’s very addicting words.

Sapphire is such a firecracker and I really enjoyed her so much. Her dialogue was very biting and hilarious. I also am so jealous of her spunk and her confidence. The girl is full of it and I was so here for it! I also loved her sisters! They were just as spunky, if not more so, and I just loved how close they all were. Lavender earned herself a very special place in my heart and I loved how she told everyone what was what. I kind of wish she had been in the book a lot more! I really need to read the first book!

Jackson is the love interest in the book and I was obsessed with him and his very sexy words. He is just everything that you could possibly want in a romantic male lead. He is kind, giving, polite and the words that come out of his mouth…. BOY WERE THEY STEAMY! He can talk to me all day every day (don’t tell my husband….) I just love how he treated Sapphire and admitted when he was wrong. He is perfect in every way, but…. I’m just not convinced he could ever be real…. It’s okay, I’m married so it makes sense.

The steam in this book is SOOOO GOODd. OMG, I was constantly fanning myself and was completely captivated with the steamy scenes that filled this addicting read. I seriously swear that I I had smoke coming out of my ears. IT WAS SO GOOD MAN!!!!!!!

Overall this read was pure delight and I can’t wait for more of these spunky characters in the next installment.
