Some of My Favorite Book Boyfriends

As a book lover, one of the main things I find is that with each book I develop a new fictional relationship with a certain character and I wish they were real. My husband is great, but there is just something about a boy from a book that is just a little better. Here are some of my recent book loves, but trust me, there are many more!  Wraith from Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco  OH THIS BOY IS YUMMY! He is sarcastic, evil, hilarious, and so dark. He is a mystery wrapped in a very handsome package that I can’t wait to unwrap in the next book.…

    Kingdom of Ash Review

Summary In the stunning conclusion of the Throne of Glass series, Aelin Galathynius has sacrificed everything for her people, but can she survive Maeve’s prison? Will her gathered allies be able to rally together and defeat Erawan? Will all of our favorite heroes survive this last battle? My Thoughts:  I just can’t believe that series is over. What an amazing and beautiful ride that Sarah J. Maas took me on with some wonderfully developed characters. I felt a sense of completeness when I finished reading the conclusion, but I want more.  Aelin Galathynius is my favorite heroine of all time and she is such a different character in this book.…

    Some of My Favorite Heroines

Through my many years of reading, I have encountered so many amazing characters that I truly adore and want to read again and again. I feel like every time I start a new book, I add new characters to my ever-growing list and it’s getting harder to choose who is my favorite. Most of my favorite characters are sarcastic, intelligent, and badass and this list of characters meet these traits to a capital T.  Aelin Galathynius/Celaena Sardothien from the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas This is the coolest character that I’ve ever read. When I first meet her, she is a cold, broken, but determined girl that…

    Tower of Dawn Review

Summary Chaol Westfall and Nesryn Faliq are traveling to the southern continent to visit the empire in Antica where the famous healers of the Torre Cesme live. They have two missions, they must ask this strong and legendary empire to aid in the upcoming threat and ask for their healers to aid Chaol after the conflict with the late King of Adarlan. Will they be able to achieve their goals or will they be denied and left empty handed?  My Thoughts Okay, so if you didn’t know by now, I am not the biggest Chaol fan so this installment was definitely a difficult feat for me to finish. However, this…

    Empire of Storms Review

Summary In the fifth book of the Throne of Glass series, Aelin has her court and has finally made it to her kingdom of Terrasen. However, now she has to worry if her kingdom will accept her as their queen and with war looming, will she be able to gather enough allies to defeat her enemies? My Thoughts Honestly, this series just keeps getting better and better with each book! I continue to love this series with each installment because the author continues to add more characters with very unique stories and more twists and turns that shock and rip your heart out at the same time. There are just…
