    Darkest Mercy Review

Summary In the fifth and final installment of the Wicked Lovely series, everything is chaos. Aislinn is struggling without the Summer King, Seth is stuck in Fairie, Niall is broken, Sorcha is going crazy, Bananarch is waging war, and Donia is the only strong regent in this side of Fairie. Will anyone survive? My Thoughts:  I can’t believe the series is over!!! It was such a wild ride and I loved even more than I did when I first read it. I thought it ended on such a great and positive note and it was everything I wanted and more.  The book started at such a fast pace and really…

    Radiant Shadows

Summary In the fourth installment of the Wicked Lovely series, everything is left unsettled from the last book and no one is happy. This book focuses on the side characters Ani and Devlin. Ani is half-human and half-faery struggling to learn her role in the Dark Court. Devlin is the muscle of the High Court who is also struggling between the wants of his two creators. What will happen when they meet for the second time?  My Thoughts This installment of the Wicked Lovely series was a refreshing distraction from the heartbreaking situation readers were left in from the last book. I like getting to know these side characters that…

    Fragile Eternity Review

Summary In the third installment of the Wicked Lovely series, all the courts are dealing with the new changes and betrayals of the last installment. The courts are in chaos and Aislinn and Seth’s relationship is in turmoil. Will the courts go to war and will Seth and Aislinn’s relationship survive?  My Thoughts  Like the last installment of the series, this installment was equally heartbreaking in every way possible. There was so much miscommunication, selfishness, guilt, and greed, that no characters could have won true happiness.  This installment went back to Aislinn’s story from Wicked Lovely, after the horrible aftermath of Iron Exchange. The damage of a broken Leslie has…

    Ink Exchange Review

Summary In the second installment of the Wicked Lovely series, the world of the Fae are at a crossroads. With the Summer Court in balance because of their new queen, the Dark Court is suffering. Their king, Irial has found a way to feed his court again, but it comes at a cost and a broken mortal will have to pay the price.   My Thoughts:  This second book of the series was honestly just so sad and broke my heart. While the first book’s main character was Aislinn, this second book focuses on one of her close friends, Leslie. Leslie doesn’t know anything about fairies, but has noticed her friend…

Summary Aislinn lives everyday in fear. She can’t have the normal life she desires because of one small problem. She has the Sight, the ability to see the Fae among humans, but she can’t tell anyone. Everywhere she looks, she sees the Fae, and she has to live by a set a rules set by her grandmother to keep her safe. However, one day, a court fae approaches her in a comic book store and the rules she has been taught from birth aren’t working anymore.  My Thoughts This book was made such an impression on me that I actually hugged the book when I was finished. The world of…
