My Thoughts

I am so grateful to the Hatter Authors Services and the author for this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This book was just a great addition to a wonderfully magical and hilarious series and I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Omg this series is just so fun and it just keeps getting better and better. This read made me laugh, gave me all the action and magic I could possibly want, made me cry, gave me some great steam, and just made me wish to just have one magical bone in my body. This third book of the Osseous Chronicles was just a wonderful thrill ride with so much action and so many laughs. It was just about perfect! The plot picked up exactly where the last book left off and I was hooked from the very beginning to end.I thought I would need to reread the other books before this one because it had been so long, but the book just whisked me back in and I was just so in! Just when I thought I had gotten a hang of the magical system and magical world of this series, I was still shocked by so many elements of it all.

Girl… what a ride, what a ride. I mean it had action, it had magic, it had steam, it had comedy…. Who could ask for more in a fantasy romance. The dynamics of the different magics are just so interesting and I loved Rogan’s secret power that made the steam even more entertaining. I want to learn more about Demon powers though so I’m hoping there will be another book so we can see Lennox come into her powers… I mean the plot wrapped up pretty nicely that there isn’t necessarily a need for a sequel, but I’m greedy and would like one please!

The only thing I will critique is that I felt like the book could have been just a little longer because the scenes were a little choppy and I felt like there wasn’t much of a transition between all the craziness going on. However, it was such a small detail that it didn’t really matter all that much because the story was just so great and if there was a lull in the action, Lennox picked it up with her HILARIOUS lines.

Now the characters… Lennox is a queen that just keeps getting better and she can do no wrong…. The ending was so satisfying because she finally embraced her awesomeness and just slayed. She deserves a standing ovation. She is also one of my favorite characters because she is just so freaking funny. If she had her own stand up show, I would be the first one in line to buy tickets. OMG I just died laughing and highlighted so many things that she said. She really made this series. Rogan is okay now I guess. He annoys me still, but he finally got over himself so that was good. He still doesn’t deserve Lennox though…..

Overall, this fantasy was a hilarious and fun read and I really hope that there is a next one!
