A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Series

In Fairview, high school student Andie Bell was murdered and her boyfriend did it….. or did he?

My Thoughts

This first book has been sitting in my kindle for like a year. So the book seemed like a perfect one to read during spooky season and boooy am I glad I waited because if I didn’t have the next books in my hands, I don’t know what I would’ve done.

THIS BOOK SHOOK ME TO THE CORE AND I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN!

This book turned out to be so much better than I expected. The characters were so good to read about, the plot was dramatic and jaw dropping, and the twists were just KILLER! I also love the way the author told the story, switching perspectives between first and third person. It added so much depth to the story telling and we got all sides of the event. Oh and the pictures and exhibits of evidence made it seem like a fun puzzle for me to solve. It was interactive and it was my favorite thriller of the season.

There were so many shady characters and so many options for the killer that it made the story so good and so fun. I kept changing my mind about who it could be and I COULD HAVE NEVER GUESSED IT IN A MILLION YEARS!

Although it was just a little far fetched that this was a school project I didn’t even care. This book was so damn good and everyone should read ittttt.

My Thoughts

And the epic mysteries continue with the amazing Pippa and her band of merry sleuths. This book was just as good as the first and brought even more craziness than I never could have imagined.

I was so happy that it was a different kind of mystery with a much different set of characters. I mean I will always enjoy a good murder mystery, but I’m glad we got to see Pippa see a new type of crime and how she would solve it. The writer once again gave us the story through a switch of first and third person all following Pippa through the mystery. However, instead of reading her notes for the school project, we are reading interviews she has for her podcast.

I JUST LOVED THAT SHE HAD A PODCAST!

This author also managed to stump me EVEN BETTER THAN THE LAST TIME!

Another thing I really loved about this sequel is that Pippa went through a very realistic and mental change due to the trauma of the last book. I thought the author executed this so well and I loved how real Pippa was to me. I love this series SO MUCH!

My Thoughts

WOOOOOOOOOW WTFFFF!?!!?

This book was amazing, crazy, shocking, scary, creepy, heartbreaking, and just insane. What a beautifully amazing way to end a wonderful series. OMG THIS SERIES. These readings had to be the best of my year and I really want to read them again. (I know, I have problems.)

THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING and just so unexpected. I WAS SHOOOOOOOOOOOOK TO THE CORE. There were so many things that I didn’t see coming and it just makes me want to read EVERY SINGLE THING that this author has written. This author has a way with words and how to stun, shock, and truly immobilize my brain for long periods of time.

The plot was INSANE and it went into so many insane directions that I honestly didn’t know how it would end. There was a shocking thing that happened in almost the middle of the book and I didn’t know where the book could possibly end up. THE WAY IT DID WAS SOMETHING I COULD HAVE NEVER THOUGHT OF. I was cringing throughout the entire second half of the book and on the edge of my seat and I just needed such a long nap after I was done reading.

The end DEVASTATED ME and I feel like I need more please….
