My Thoughts

Let me just start this review off by saying the title of this book is perfect.

The feeling of your heart beating, your mind raising, the itch to get to the end of the finish line…

You feel all of that from the beginning to the end of this book.

I really wish I could read this book for the first time again. I’m honestly still in shock.

Katrina, the main character, is the youngest of her family that has struggled to fit in for her whole life. Sometimes you would consider her to be a little immature; however, as her story unfolds you definitely understand why.

Adam is her not so nice ex-boyfriend that left her in the leeches after she discovers the past life he was hiding.

Their story is dark, raw, aggravating, frustrating, and oh sooooo good. Their push and pull towards and away from each other is the definition of what dark enemies to lovers romance should be and it is such a thrilling ride for any reader to be on.

However, this story is definitely NOT conventional. The main character, Adam, and his friends do things that make you squint your eyes in confusion and go…. “HUH,” but trust me…

It is hot, it is steamy, and it all works out in the end.

These two lovers and their world has a lot of twists and turns that makes you want to pull your hair out in the best way.

I LOVED this book. It shocked, surprised, and steamed me in the best way and I can’t wait to read more books this author has to offer!
