    Reading Rules of 2022

The new year has started and for all book bloggers, it is time to set reading goals for the year…. FUCK THAT!  Reading is supposed to be an escape, a way to get through it all. Why waste my escape on trying to impress people with my reading list?!?!   I’m almost 30 years old, I make my own money, and I have my own opinions. Why should I care what people think of what I’m reading? I want to read what I WANT! Screw those other people telling me I need to read books because of certain content, or they’re books everyone should read.  I’m not everyone. I’m me. I…

    Kindle Unlimited Authors

One of my reading goals for 2021 is to pay more attention to books written by indie authors. As a member of Kindle Unlimited, I have access to so many amazing authors and their stories should be read by everyone because they are just as good if not better than a lot of the books that are so hyped on bookstagram, booktok, and booktwitter. In order to stick to my goal, I will be sharing five new indie authors I love on Kindle Unlimited on my blog every month! Here are the five I chose for this month.  Author: Leia Stone I discovered this author because she cowrote with another…

My Top 5 Reads of March

I had a great reading month by finishing 29 books! I got to read some ARCs and have some amazing buddy reads with some amazing bookstagrammers. I also finished the Shadow Game series and the Stalking Jack the Ripper series. Although I enjoyed a LOT of the books I read this month, there were five that really stood out to me and I enjoyed above all. Gypsy Truths by Kristy Cunning  In the conclusion of the All the Pretty Monsters series, everything comes to a head and our favorite weirdo gets her happy ending with her obsessive and adorably sexy men. This series was a one that was filled with…

My Top Five Reads of February

This month has been a little crazy and I bit off more than I could chew with my monthly TBR. I didn’t get to read all my picks up I think 22 books is a good effort. I read so many great books, but these five were my favorites of the month! Den of Vipers by K.A. Knight   I’ve been wanting to read this book for a long time and I’m so glad I finally did!! This book was DARKKKK, but I was so into it and I ventured into a level of kink that I have never before. IT WAS AMAZING. This book featured such an amazing badass female…
