My Thoughts

So I found this beautiful gem of a series on the smuttok section of TikTok…. Thank you TikTok because it gave me something that I have been missing…. A reverse harem similar to my girl and her men of Hannaford Prep…. thank you so much R.A. Smyth for this thrill ride of a series. It is what I have been missing!!!

I really really REALLY liked this series and it had so many things that I enjoyed, but there were just a couple snags and in this yummy smutty cake that didn’t work for me. I felt like the series could have been three books honestly. I found my interest drifting in the fourth book and I found it to drag just a little bit. If the other three books were just a smidge longer, the fourth book could have been fit into the three books of the series. I just hate when a story drags and I found myself not as excited to read the fourth book as I was at the others.

I lovedddddd the main character so much… Hadley was such an amazing character and her story was freaking amazing. She made me laugh, she made me cry, and I lovedddddd adding her to my favorite females of the fictional world. However, there was kind of a disconnect with her story sometimes that I noticed between book one and book two. I felt like what ended up happening with her story was not the ultimate plan when the series started. I mean I could be completely wrong, but I sensed a difference between book one and book two…..

The steam was AMAZING and the men were great, but I felt like something was missing. The men were almost too nice for me…. (I have something wrong with me mentally, you don’t have to tell me.) The boys and Hadley didn’t have enough enemies to me… they went back and forth, yes, but it didn’t seem genuine. I needed more antics and pranks to make it make sense. I wanted one of her men to be a little more mean….. They were just not dark enough for me to make the romance truly perfect. It was like 99.9% amazing….

Overall, I loved this series and am definitely adding this author to my list of autobuys….
