The Origins Series Review
I read these books so quickly that I’m going to do a short review for all of them even though the series isn’t over yet! I literally inhaled these three books in three days and have no regrets! I just can’t get enough of Evie and Luc!

Summary
When 17 year old Evie Dasher meets Luc at a club her friend dragged her to, she is caught in a raid and her life changes forever. As she gets to know the mysterious and handsome boy, she starts to discover that her life is not what she thought it was and Luc is a bigger feature than she ever thought before.
My Thoughts

As an avid Lux series fan, I was so so so excited to see my favorite characters again! The Lux series was one of my first series I read from Jennifer L. Armentrout and I’m been an obsessive fan ever since!
I was not the biggest fan of Evie at first because of course she was not Kat, but she grew on me as the story progressed and I liked her more and more. Her fascination with photography was very endearing and it was really interesting seeing how she saw the world. However, Luc was of course my favorite character.
In the original Lux series, I was fascinated with Luc, he was just so weird and he made everyone feel stupid. I thought it was hilarious. I also had such empathy for him and I was glad to see him happier in this series. I couldn’t get enough of his dialogue, but I wish we got to see some of his point of view!
The plot in this book was EXTREMELY interesting and was not what I expected at all! It took me on a crazy journey back into the insanely fast-paced world of the Luxen that I honestly thought was over. It just keeps getting worse and it almost reminded me of what we’re going through now! That’s a little terrifying.

Wow, just wow this book ripped a part my soul and then slowly put it back together again! Evie and Luc can’t get any more adorable or else I will die of a sweet tooth. Omg! This book took off with a bang and then kept going and going with the amazing action! I can’t believe all the crazy things that happened!!!!
The dilemma that this poor girl is facing, I just can’t even imagine what that is like! To remember or not to remember that is the question and I don’t even know what my answer would be. Not only does this poor girl not remember most of her life, she doesn’t know whether or not people’s feelings are for her or the girl she was before.
The plot also went into a complete different direction that I thought and I completely surprised about who was the person responsible! I totally guessed wrong and was taken completely by surprise! IT WAS SO GOOD!

OMG OMG OMG! This series just keeps getting better and better with each book! I am completely obsessed! Not only are Evie and Luc such a fun couple to read, the plot is so entertaining, I could not put it down!
Now that they are on the run and people are dying left and right, things have gotten extremely really interesting! Evie has really grown throughout the series and I am amazed at her strength! She is the strongest female in the series, well except Kat of course. (Kat will always be near and dear to my heart! I mean she is obsessed with books, what’s not to love?) I mean this girl has suffered through more than anyone should and she still is pushing through. Girl is badass!
Luc was also such a sexy and steamy specimen in this book. Their scenes together are explosive and I just can’t get enough! I’m obsessed with his pick up lines and when he calls Evie Peaches. BE STILL MY HEART! My heart also glows when he just tells her to just be here and doesn’t expect anything else. He may be just a tad possessive and obsessive, but it’s a little understandable given their situation of constantly being in danger.
The plot in this book was extremely action packed and there really was no point where anyone could relax. However, I had a little problem with the community and how they treated Evie. I mean I get her powers are insane and unpredictable, but I thought their rudeness and impoliteness was a little much. I mean their Luxen, they should know how it feels to be feared because of what you are. It took the community much too long to realize this fact and that really irked me.
That ending blew me away and when is the next one out because I will probably die before then! Read this series people! It is amazing.
