My Thoughts

Ummmmmmmm so I could go on and on and onnnnnnn about this amazing book. It was a huge and wonderful punch to my happy “down there.” (I usually HATE when authors use this to refer to female genitalia, but I’m rolling with it today.)

This read has been EVERYWHERE since it came out, I cannot look at any social media app without seeing the cover at least once. Soooooo either this book is AMAZING or the author paid a LOT of people to advertise it. Seeing it SO often always makes me a little leery because I hate disliking a book that everyone likes because it makes me feel lonely…. This wasn’t the case because this book was…. SO FREAKING HOT! Omg…. I got the vapors and the lava and the volcano and the acid rain from inhaling this book.

Yes I judge a book by its cover so I was expecting a sweet and adorable Christmas when I opened this book. Yes…. I know everyone said it was steamy and sexy, but I don’t really believe people anymore… people’s tastes are vastly different so I won’t believe it unless I read it for myself…… HOWEVER… in this context these droves and droves of people were in fact correct. THIS SHIT WAS SO STEAMY THAT MY BODY WAS ON FIRE. JUST… the sexual TENSION. It drove me insane and the smutty parts were perfection.

Aiden… omg Aiden… People said it was like a Ted Lasso romance and BOY were they right. If this is what Ted Lasso is like in bed… Sassy is a FREAKING lucky girl! Aiden…… talk about a gentleman in the streets and a freak in the sheets. He was just the cutest thing and when he turned, I was SHOOK in the downstairs.

This author has become an autobuy for me. She writes steam in the best way and she deserves a round of applause. Thank you Tessa Bailey for an amazing read, I look forward to adding all of your books to my Christmas list!
